    LEARN MORE

  • Slowly. Calmly. Deeply. Regularly.

We breathe all day, every day — yet how often do we notice the quality of our breath? Breath sustains us from moment to moment, more essential than food or water, yet its power to shape our health and well-being is often overlooked.

In this foundational workshop, Wei-Ming bridges modern science with the wisdom of yogic breathing practices. Whether you’re new to breathwork or looking to deepen your practice, you’ll learn accessible techniques to cultivate calm, clarity, and vitality.

Discover the “how” and “why” of functional, efficient breathing, and leave with simple practices you can integrate into daily life. No experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.

Benefits of healthy breathing may include:

    • Stronger immune function

    • Reduced stress and anxiety

    • Greater emotional balance and self-awareness

This workshop blends gentle movement and quiet stillness, with time spent lying down or seated with support. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so we can best support you.

Note: Participants should be able to breathe through the nose.

Sunday, October 5th - Phinney Ridge

    4:00pm - 6:00pm

Join yoga teacher, therapist, author, and tarot reader Lily Myers (https://www.lilymyerswrites.com/) for a dynamic workshop exploring the balance of strength and self-compassion.

Drawing on the research of psychologist Dr. Kristin Neff
(https://self-compassion.org/)and the symbolism of the Strength tarot card, this workshop invites you to embody both tender and fierce forms of self-compassion.

Through an active flow practice followed by restorative movement, guided journaling, meditation, and reflection, you’ll discover how psychology, yoga, and symbolic imagery can weave together to support inner growth. Expect to leave with practical tools for cultivating self-compassion that you can carry into everyday life.

    All are welcome.

Note: Tarot symbolism is included in this unique workshop at the discretion of the instructor for reflection only, and is not part of 8 Limbs’ ongoing programming or studio practices.
