Kate completed the 8 Limbs Teacher Training in 2004 and fell in love with anatomy and alignment. Kate finds the most inspiration in teaching beginners. She strives to help them understand how the body is structured within poses and how we can find the most ease and freedom in our yoga practice. Her continuing studies at the Rolf Institute further her inquiry into self-empowerment through yoga.
"Have a plan and be willing to abandon it." - Ida Rolf

"Kate has an impeccable sense of nuance and pace. Her awesome anatomical knowledge and clever descriptions of poses always reveal something new to me. She manages a seriousness and a silliness that turns a group of students into a comfortable unit." - Kelly Igoe, student |
