jenny hayo
Jenny Hayo began her Yoga studies in 1996. She has trained in the Ashtanga and Iyengar movement systems, is a student of Buddhism, and continues her study of the Yoga Sutras with her longtime teacher Jo Leffingwell. Her studio classes marry a flowing practice with deep concentration and steadiness of body and mind. She offers students simple, accessible ways to live life fully and to wake up to their own potential. Jenny is known for the clarity of her teachings and an ability to support a wide variety of practitioners. She also works with individual clients to develop programs for physical fitness, specific health needs, injury and trauma recovery, life-cycle support, and as a mentor.
Jenny is a member of the 8 Limbs Yoga Teacher Training Staff and leads retreats and workshops in the Pacific Northwest and abroad. These immersions allow her to guide students more deeply in their practices of movement, meditation, personal reflection, and community. Whether in class, on retreat, or individually, Jenny continues to be grateful for the wisdom imparted by her students.
