Douglas Ridings
Douglas Ridings began teaching Yoga to people of all ages in 1999 and is a graduate of the Samadhi Yoga Teacher Training Program. Drawing from his background in Butoh (a meditative form of contemporary Japanese dance) and Odissi (classical Indian dance with roots in Tantrik Yoga), his classes emphasize cooperation with the breath, the cultivation of comfort and stability in the body, and challenging coordination and mental focus practices. He leads a kind of dynamic meditation adapted to the needs of individuals.

Teachers: Anne Phyfe Palmer, Melina Meza, Kathleen Hunt, Katsura Kan, Dr. Ratna Roy

"It's not so much words with which I can describe Douglas' class... it's the way with which I would breathe the words or think the words or BE the words... the breath" - Julia

"No matter how I struggle and strive, I'll never get out of this world alive." - Hank Williams
