Megan Costello, CMT, RYT has began studying alternative healing in 2004. She has trained in Massage Therapy, Polarity Therapy, Somatic Emotional Healing and Reiki. In 2006, she discovered Acutonics, a form of sound-healing involving the use of tuning forks, and has been pursuing her Acutonics Practitioner Certification since then. Megan has integrated Acutonics into her practice of other forms of bodywork and has recently brought the healing powers of sound and vibration into the yoga studio. Her study of the forks, which hare tuned to planetary energies, have brought her to the understanding of importance of incorporating the natural cycles of the seasons and the moon into her yoga practice. In addition, she offers yoga classes that involve the use of turning forks to help the body relax and release in savasana.
