Instructors:
Melina Meza began teaching in 1996. Her main influences have been in the Krishnamacharya lineage: the therapeutic teachings of Gary Kraftsow and the Yin/Yang sequencing of Sarah Powers. Robert Svoboda’s philosophies around Ayurveda also infuse her teachings.

Jenny Hayo has been studying and teaching yoga throughout Seattle and abroad since 1996. She considers teacing to be an art that requires the teacher to be able to stay present, share the truths of their practice, and have a strong foundation in the science of the yoga system. She has completed trainings with Sarah Powers, Kathleen Hunt, Tias Little, and Donna Farhi.

Anne Phyfe Palmer founded 8 Limbs Yoga Centers in 1996 to create an inclusive place of learning that honors the many paths we take in our practice. She specializes in prenatal yoga and teaching chakra awareness for personal growth.

Chiara Guerrieri has been practicing yoga for 18 years and massage for 20 years. Throughout her life, Chiara has also taught Italian (her native tongue), Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, and Injury Treatment at several massage schools in Seattle and Europe. She teaches yoga at several Seattle yoga studios.

Douglas Ridings began teaching in 1999 at the suggestion of Anne Phyfe Palmer and Melina Meza and is a graduate of Kathleen Hunt's Samadhi Yoga Teacher Training Program (2000). Both a trip to India in 2001 (with studies in Yoga, Mantra, Sanskrit, traditional dance and music) and the contemporary Japanese dance Butoh, continue to exert a powerful influence over his personal practice and teaching.
